The Last Supper- Mark 14; John 13 Source: The Bible- The King James Version
Commentary: The story of the Last Supper tells of the final times that Jesus had with his disciples and the knowledge of Jesus's arrest and death. Jesus knew that he would be denied and betrayed, but none of the disciples believed him until they finally did hurt Jesus. There are even mythological parallels to this story. One story tells of twelve gods assembled at a feast and the thirteenth god arrived late only to kill a good god. These stories are very similar, the only difference is in the prior knowledge that Jesus had of the betrayal.
